Welcome to the Participants of the International Mathematics Competition “Kangaroo 2023”

Throughout human history, mathematics has been an integral part of our culture, a source of understanding the world around us, and the foundation of scientific and technological progress. Mathematics is not only an essential component of education in the broadest sense of the word but also relates to society as a whole.
The celebration of logic, wit, inspiration, and interest was successfully held on March 23! Congratulations to all participants of the “Kangaroo 2023” competition!
The competition results are available to school organizers on the kengurs.lv website, in the Workspace section. All participants have diplomas and certificates in electronic format, while teachers receive acknowledgments. This year there will be no award ceremony, but we decided to award the 1st place winners in Latvia and those participants who made it into the top twenty best mathematicians in Latvia for each grade level from 2nd to 12th grade (TOP 20).
Diplomas and small gifts for children who made it into the top twenty best mathematicians in Latvia for each grade level from 2nd to 12th grade (TOP 20) can be received from April 24 to May 31 on weekdays at Lomonosova Street 1 k-7, Latgale Suburb, Riga, LV-1019.
This year, 17,767 students from 251 Latvian schools participated in the competition.
